Revd. Dr. Timothy Olu Aibinuomo serves as the Executive Director and President of the Board of the Rev. Dr. Omo Amadasun Foundation, providing visionary and spiritual leadership to ensure that every initiative reflects the Foundation’s Christian values of compassion, integrity, and service. He oversees the Foundation’s daily administrative operations and leads efforts that support pastors, their families, and ministry workers with dignity, encouragement, and care. A lifelong friend and mentee of the late Rev. Dr. Omo Amadasun, Dr. Aibinuomo shared in his ministry vision and worked closely with him over several decades. Their relationship was marked by mutual respect, deep faith, and a shared burden for the welfare of pastors and their children. This friendship helped shape Dr. Aibinuomo’s enduring commitment to pastoral empowerment and the continuation of Rev. Amadasun’s legacy of faith, service, and leadership.
As Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Benin City, Revd. Dr. Aibinuomo has faithfully led for over three decades, including more than twenty-three years as Senior Pastor. Under his dynamic and relational leadership, Central Baptist Church has planted over forty new congregations within the last decade, spreading the gospel and strengthening communities throughout the Edo Baptist Conference. A pastor’s son himself, Dr. Aibinuomo understands deeply the joys and burdens of ministry. His compassion for struggling pastors and their families has inspired a lifetime of outreach—providing practical, spiritual, and emotional support to ministers in need. He is known for personally reaching out to pastors facing challenges, offering mentorship, prayer, and financial assistance, and leading initiatives to uplift pastoral families and their children.
Dr. Aibinuomo is a respected voice across the Nigerian Baptist Convention, known for his grace, wisdom, and eloquence. His preaching and teaching have inspired audiences across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, from local congregations to civic and business leaders. His ministry bridges people of all backgrounds—ministering with the same sincerity to the poor, the vulnerable, and those in positions of influence.In addition to his pastoral leadership, Revd. Dr. Aibinuomo has served in several national Christian leadership capacities, including Chairman of the Bible Society of Nigeria and as a member of the Nigerian Pilgrims Welfare Board. These roles highlight his lifelong dedication to promoting ethical governance, moral leadership, and holistic care within the Christian community.
He holds a Bachelor of Theology, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Ministry, all from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso. His academic and ministerial experience combine to make him a transformational leader—one who leads with humility, purpose, and vision.
Responsibilities as Executive Director & President of the Board
In his official role, Revd. Dr. Timothy Olu Aibinuomo is responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Foundation.
- Maintaining all records, minutes, correspondence, and documentation of board and program activities.
- Coordinating communication among board members, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Overseeing financial accountability in collaboration with the Chair and Treasurer.
- Supervising administrative recruitment, including staff, volunteers, and program officers.
Through his servant leadership, Revd. Dr. Aibinuomo ensures that the Foundation continues the enduring legacy of Rev. Dr. Omo Amadasun—uplifting pastors, empowering their families, and expanding the reach of the gospel through faithful stewardship, education, and compassionate action.
