Dr. Olumuyiwa Akinrole Oludayo
– Executive Coordinator, Education & Mentorship
Olumuyiwa Akinrole Oludayo is a leader who helps people and organizations reach their best potential. He works across education, business, and coaching to bring out the best in others. He has also advised many nonprofit organizations, helping them grow stronger and more effective.
As a “human-capital architect,” Dr. Oludayo builds systems, programs, and mindsets that develop human ability. His work includes teaching, writing, speaking, and working directly with teams. He sees himself not just as someone important, but as someone who adds real value to others.
Academic Background & Teaching
Dr. Oludayo holds a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Relations and Human Resources, all from Covenant University. His studies gave him a strong foundation in understanding workplaces, leadership, and how people relate to each other in work settings.
He has worked as a professor, researcher, and trainer. He inspires students and leaders to look inside themselves to discover the skills and character needed to succeed. He encourages a shift from being a “Very Important Person (VIP)” to being a “Value-Adding Personality (VAP).” In Dr. Oludayo’s view, what matters most is the good you do, not just the status you hold.
Leadership Roles & Career Milestones
- He was Chairman of the Students’ Council at Covenant University, then President of the Alumni Association, and later Chairman of its Board of Trustees.

- In 2015, he moved to direct the African Leadership Development Centre, where he led leadership training for thousands of students each year and created programs like “Toward a Total Graduate” to help young graduates move smoothly into working life.
National Impact & Empowerment

He has consulted widely with nonprofit organizations, helping them refine their leadership, strategy, and values to serve well and sustainably.
Professional Recognition
Dr. Oludayo is a Research Fellow and full member (MCIPM) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria. His work has contributed to professional standards in human resources and leadership. He was honored with the CIPM Mega Award for leadership and his significant influence on HR practice in Nigeria and beyond.
Entrepreneurship & Philosophy
In 2012, he founded Nathan Leadgate Company. The goal is simple: help people, institutions, and communities excel by focusing on adding value. He coined the idea of becoming a Value-Adding Personality (VAP) instead of merely seeking to be a Very Important Person (VIP).
He also founded Workplace Survey, Sapience Brow, and Volunteer Africa — initiatives and organisations aligned with his belief in service, growth, and leadership. He shares his philosophy widely through workshops, seminars, coaching sessions, and media content (audio, video, online).
